Operation Make Me Over.

I love this jewelry.
I found Broken Fab on another blog that I was randomly reading last week.
I haven't been able to stop thinking about it.
Not only as artistic inspiration, but as inspiration for my everyday wardrobe.
I think I have a bead loom in my closet at my mom's house.
I will search for it next time I'm there.
PS My birthday is also coming up in a few weeks.

The New Girl In Town.

This girl, right here is my new inspritation to live.
She's 13 years old and blogs about the most amazing things.
Her style is impeccable and she's got such a positive attitude.
I heard about her before but hadn't checked out her blog until yesterday.
I remember when I was 13 I used to dress in old, thrifted clothes, mismatched prints, layers, I used to paint my sneakers and wear these old/worn looking Steve Madden shoes my mom got for me on South St.
I used to make my own jewelry and wore crazy make-up.
I was very much pro-DIY. I still am, but I never have time anymore.
It's like I swallow my creativity.

Something to consider before bringing your antlers on vacation with you.

Antlers
Antlers will be accepted as checked baggage for a charge of $100 per direction. The following conditions of acceptance apply:

Dimension (H + W + L) must not exceed 120 in/305 cm
On the CRJ aircraft the largest dimension cannot exceed 33 in/84 cm and the overall dimensions cannot exceed 99 in/252 cm
On the Dash 8 aircraft the largest dimension cannot exceed 50 in/127 cm
Head/skull must be completely clean and free of residue
Points must be covered and protected
1 rack per ticketed customer
Can’t combine or cradle 2 or more racks

I don't know what to say.

When I come into work in the morning, my stuff is usually pushed around on my desk, and even though I leave notes for the cleaning staff not to touch anything, they always do. Maybe it's to spite me. haha
Anyway, this morning I found this on the shelf above my desk:



I'm not sure what to make of it. What a weird thing...

Something else kinda funny - I was standing facing this guy on the train on the way to work and he was wearing his work uniform. The name tag said "Four Points by Sheraton". His name was "Kok Leong". Then underneath, it said "Laundry". I always have my camera - except for today.
