There's a place up the street from me that rents out Digger Dans. (AKA backhoes)
I only learned a few years ago that the proper name for Digger Dan is "backhoe".
Personally, I prefer Digger Dan.

Rene, When I was like 16 I worked landscaping with a guy named Dan, we called him Digger Dan. One day while Digger Dan was opperating a Digger Dan, he tipped it over in a giant hole. It was like the coolest thing ever.
