Wednesday I got out of work early so I made the 2:30 bus down to Philly.
1. Boston Market
2. Transporter 3
3. The Barbary
Thursday I went to my mom's and hung out with my sister.
My mom, aunt, sister, and I had dinner and then just hung out around the house.
At around 10:30, my sister's friend Michelle picked us up and we drove to these outlets for midnight shopping.
We didn't get much, but we did, however, end up with buffalo bleu cheese dip. Delicious.
We went to sleep at about 6 am.
Friday we went to lunch at Nifty Fifty's with my mom and her boyfriend.
I got this amazing chicken sandwich.
We went shopping the rest of the day and picked up Miranda around 6:30.
Miranda stayed over and we watched movies and made cookies.
I was supposed to go to Beth's mom's house in Jersey for "Thanksgiving 2" but I didn't make it. :(
Saturday I took Miranda to get a haircut and took pictures of her to bring to the scouting agency.
She's so cute.
She has an appointment with them again on Thursday.
My mom made pizzelles for me since I was out all day.
1. Fish sandwiches
2. Philippe's
3. Cosi
4. The Barbary
Today I picked up my dad and Miranda and we went to lunch for my dad's birthday. Michelle and my aunt came too.
I got on the 4:00 bus and didn't get home until 7:30.
I'm tired.

A Night in BK.
Al and I met up after work and got tea and cake.
We haven't hung out in a while.
I think I haven't seen him since his birthday in September.
I think the last time we hung out in that part of Brooklyn was almost 2 years ago.
It was the summertime and we got videos and vodka.
Al and I always have fun. He's got a good sense of humor and we talk about interesting things.
He's got a blog, The Minority Report. (www.theminorityreportnyc.blogspot.com)
Yay Al! hahaha

Happy Birthday Daddy!
It's my dad's birthday.
Every year around my dad's birthday/Thanksgiving, one of his best friends, Paul, has some party in Philly.
My dad usually goes and has drinks, but I don't think he went last year and I highly doubt he's going this year.
I talked to my dad yesterday and he had the usual to talk about: tv and crazy people he knows from Frankford.
He did, however, have something to tell me that made me a little happy and made me feel like there's some hope...
He's on this committee through his "group" that he goes to and he's organized an open mic night for the other members. He's going to host it. I think it will be really good for him.
He also told me that he's back at the hardware store where he used to work. He's only working a few hours a day, but it's better than nothing.
(Paul)
PS. I OD'd on cookies last night.

Douchebags Buy Drinks.
Last night I went to Arrow, where Andy was djing.
I texted him before I got there to find out how it was.
He texted me back, "Packed but douchey."
He couldn't have sent me a more accurate description.
It was fun though.
I wish I had more people with me so I could have danced.
I don't like dancing with strangers. Especially douchey ones.
I was talking to Andy's friend Bobby about music and stuff.
We both agree that no good music has come out in a really long time and the radio is never worth listening to.
I can't remember exactly what he said, but he said something along the lines of the last good song to come out was ODB Got Your Money. haha I wish I remembered what he said exactly. It was a lot funnier.
Andy gave us astronaut ice cream.
I thoroughly enjoyed making fun of all the girls that thought they were cute that came up to the dj booth requesting ridiculous songs.
Maybe that's my problem. I don't think I'm cute.
Anyway, I was home by 3:30. I had weird dreams.

A Night at the Roxxy.
I used to hang out with these hardcore kids.
Everyone in "the scene" went to Shampoo every Wednesday for 80s night.
There was this guy "Black Ray" who I used to talk to sometimes.
There was this drama with him, me, and my ex, Mike. (Mike Brown)
But anyway, I hadn't talked to him or seen him in years, and one day maybe a month ago, he friended me on myspace.
As it turns out, he's like the manager or something of this club, The Roxxy in Philly.
My sister goes there with her friends.
Ray has all these pictures of him with all kinds of girls on his myspace, including this one:
Now, if you know you don't have the best stomach, why would you show it off so willingly like that?
My stomach's def not as nice as it once was, and I certainly wouldn't show it off in a pose such as the above.
Just another example of Philly trash.
Although, I guess if this girl goes there, it's understandable.

Ew York.
There's got to be more to New York city than partying and posing for pictures just to show you were at the party.
There's got to be more, and I'm going to find it.

Jimmy Brooks 08.
On election day, my dad called and asked me if I voted for Jimmy Brooks. I couldn't think of who Jimmy Brooks was, but I just laughed and told him I did.
I googled "Jimmy Brooks," and I had completely forgotten he was a character from Degrassi.
He was supposed to be the token mixed kid who wore Triple 5 all the time.
Spinner got him shot or something and then he was in a wheelchair for the last few years of "high school".
My dad and I discuss Degrassi all the time.
Haha Gotta love my dad.
